DISCOVERY STATION
Our nursery
school programs is licensed under the Day Nurseries Act. Each location
is inspected annually by the Ministry of Community & Social Services.
The Day Nurseries Act contains requirements specific to staff qualifications
and ratios, program content and equipment.
Discovery
Station Nursery School
offers:

Programs for toddlers,
18 to 30 months & preschoolers, 2 ½ years to 5 years.

Activities that
will enhance your child's natural curiosity and love of knowledge.

Weekly themes,
which include the environment, the earth, animals and other interesting
topics

Staff who will
meet the creative, intellectual, social and physical needs of your child.
We offer:

Low child-teacher
ratios

2 & 3 half
day programs

Mornings, 9:00
- 11:30 a.m. & Afternoons, 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Three locations: North Service Road, Sixth Line and Kingsway

Special needs/integrated
resource consultation provided by the Region of Halton

Registration packages can be picked up at any of our locations or can now be

General Information Booklet & Forms
*Please note that the deadline
for registration was
Wednesday,
February 7, 2007.
Please
note: We
do not offer on-line registration or accept registration by e-mail. You
can however, mail it in or drop it off at any of our locations.
Registration
forms must be accompanied by your $50.00 registration fee
(currently dated) AND one (1) month's fee, which covers your June 2008 payment
(currently dated) as a deposit. We accept cash or cheque
only.
Once
your child's registration is confirmed, we will require a series of post-dated
cheques for September 2007 - May 2008. These cheques must be received
two weeks after confirmation in order to hold your child's space.
ADVENTURE EXPRESS Summer
Program ONLY
Our
licensed
nursery school program transforms into a summer camp and is offered in
a four – week session. Children will have many opportunities for
play, which will cultivate their natural curiosity and love of knowledge.
For children 18 months to 5 years.
Registration
for Adventure Express for July and August will be available in April.
