OPCC is currently looking to hire an Early Childhood Educator for our Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher. This position requires an individual who likes to work with infants, toddlers and preschoolers in our Licensed and Early Years programs. Training and experience working with children with special needs is an asset.

We are also looking to hire an EarlyON SupervisorThis position requires an experienced and energetic supervisor/teacher to support our educators, children and their families. You must have a high level of empathy, maturity, patience, objectivity and the capacity to form meaningful, joyful relationships with children and their families, educators and volunteers. The supervisor must also be skilled in managing relationships with external stakeholders such as representatives from both municipal and provincial governments.

Lastly, we are looking to hire an EarlyON Community Development Coordinator. The EarlyON Community Development Coordinator’s role is to facilitate the collective action of community members as it relates to early years development and the wellbeing of families.  The goal of this role is to engage, connect and empower individuals to influence the needs for early learning and family supports for their local community.

A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, access to a vehicle and ability to travel within the area is necessary as all positions require accessibility to multiple locations and programs.
