EarlyON Attendance Policy – Effective March 19th, 2018

As a courtesy and to ensure your space is secured, if you are unable to attend the first class of a Free EalryON program, we ask that you let the OPCC administration team know by email at info@op-cc.ca or by telephone at 905 849-6366 as soon as you can but no later than 3 days after the programs start date. This way we know you wish to remain in the program and no further action will be taken. In the event you are absent from the first class of a program and we don’t hear from you within 3 days of the program start date, you will forfeit your space in the program and we will move to the wait list to fill the space. If at any point you are unregistered from a program by OPCC, you will be notified by email.

Program Cancellations

Refunds and changes are only available if requested 5 business days before the start of the program. A $25.00 administration fee is charged for all refund requests. This excludes nursery school programs. There are no refunds for programs less than $25.

All refunds will be issued by cheque including those payments made by Visa or MasterCard online.

Inclusion

Our Centre takes pride in offering our programs to all children, regardless of the level of their need. All children are welcomed into our programs and our staff promotes inclusive social play and full participation in all routines and activities in the classroom. Our program includes children with extra supports in approximate proportion to their presence in the population. Our philosophy fosters an environment of mutual respect and understanding which supports the whole family during their preschool journey.

OPCC is also committed to supporting you when you experience unique challenges as the parent of a child with special needs. Please contact a Program Manager at our North Service Road – Main location if you require additional assistance.

Working collaboratively with professionals from Children’s Resource Services, Halton Region and our community partners, our staff strives to ensure a positive outcome for all families and children. If you would like to participate with your child with special needs, in any of our programs and have any questions, please ask!

Financial Assistance – If you would like to discuss payment options, or require a fee subsidy, please call the North Service Road – Main and speak with a Supervisor or Manager.

Accesibility for Ontarians with Disabilities

In compliance with the Accesibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), Oakville Parent-Child Centre (OPCC) has developed an Accesible Customer Service Plan.  This plan is available upon request by emailing info@op-cc.ca or by calling (905) 849-6366.

Customers who wish to provide feedback on the way OPCC provides services to people with disabilities can email or speak to someone in person.  All feedback will be directed to the Manager of Operations.
